Two incidents of a man trying to take photographs up schoolgirls’ skirts in Nottinghamshire has prompted an appeal from police.
A girl was targeted as she walked along an alleyway between Pennine Close and Sidlaw Rise, Daybrook, at about 15:10 GMT on Friday.
The second incident happened as a man followed a girl in Augustine Gardens, Bestwood, at about 08:45 on Monday.
Police said officers had stepped up patrols and were examining CCTV but asked for anyone with information to contact them.
The suspect was described as black, about 5ft 8in to 6ft (1.73m to 1.83m), of slim to medium build, aged in his late 20s, and had a neat, well-kept beard.
He was wearing a black baseball cap and a backpack, officers said.
Det Insp Simon Harrison, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “While incidents of this nature are rare, I want to assure members of the public we are taking these reports very seriously and we have increased high-visibility reassurance patrols in response to these reports.
“We’re working hard to identify the suspect responsible for these incidents as soon as possible and we’re asking for anyone who recognises the suspect from the description to call us.”
