KAMUI is a troupe of “Samurai Artists” that fuse the beauty of acting and martial arts to create an original style of samurai fighting.
Leader Tetsuro Shimaguchi joined Quentin Tarantino’s film KILL BILL Vol.1 as an actor, combat scene , and anactor trainer.
In 2018, he was the first Japanese to receive the Consonanze Prize in Florence, Italy. He was also appointed tourism ambassador for the city of Aizuwakamatsu and Fukushima Prefecture in 2019.
The KAMUI troop has performed in more than 35 countries and about 150 cities.
During their performances abroad, Mika Kobayashi often joins them as a star singer.
The members of the troupe promoted “SAMURAI” as a Japanese culture and art all over the world.
Their dynamic shows, worthy of action films, will make a sensation at Japan Expo.
