Hiroshi Watari is an actor known for having had the lead role in various tokusatsu series, including Earth’s defender, hero of the universe: Spielvan. He crystallized at Japan Expo with his sister-in-arms Diana Lady.

Hiroshi Watari, a true hero of tokusatsu who successively wore the armor of Sharivan (1983) and Spielban (1986), returned for the first time to Japan Expo in 22 years.
A must-see in superheroic action series, he is a charismatic actor whose talent continues to captivate fans. Even the neophytes of this universe are immediately seduced by discovering its iconic roles that break the screen at each of its appearances.
His versalency allowed him both to play the role of Boomeran in “Kyoju Tokuso Jaspion” (1985), as well as stealthily replacing Hikaru Kurosaki under the costume of the main role that had left his career.

He learned at Sonny Chiba’s acting school: JAPAN ACTION CLUB (JAC), where film stars such as Hiroyuki Sanada were trained. After iconic roles in the Metal Hero series, Hiroshi Watari also became known for storytelling and voice creation.
It is distinguished by a powerful stamp ideal for the intense and dramatic moments.

In France, it was the broadcasts of Spielvan and Sharivan on the Club Dorothée and Récré A2 respectively that made it possible to familiarize the French-speaking audience with Hiroshi Watari and to touch an additional generation of the world of tokusatsu.
His influence goes beyond borders, and he is regularly invited to events in Japan and internationally.
