Monday, September 16, London: ReedPop is today pleased to announce that the voice cast of Larian Studios’ critically acclaimed Baldur’s Gate 3 will be appearing at MCM Comic Con x EGX at ExCeL London from the 25th – 27th of October.
Launched in August of last year, Baldur’s Gate 3 picks up over 23 years after the previous entry in the Baldur’s Gate series, and sees players embark on a quest in which both the fate of the world and their own free will is at stake. The title has gone on to win multiple accolades, including Game of the Year at the Game Awards and Best Game at the BAFTA Game Awards – and love for the developers, artists and actors involved in bringing it to life shows no sign of abating.
At MCM Comic Con, fans will be able to meet…
- Aliona Baranova: Aliona’s vocal talent sees her voicing a diverse range of characters from Corinna the squirrel to Xeph the Tiefling refugee in Baldur’s Gate 3. Aliona also plays the role of Magda in the new feature film, Reawakening.
- Amelia Taylor: Amelia is responsible for potentially the most iconic voice in the game, the Narrator. Her personality-packed delivery is integral to bringing the story of the protagonist to life. Amelia will also be known for her role as Hecate in Hades II.
- Devora Wilde: Devora voices Lae’zel, the mean, green, mindflayer-hunting machine. She gives the character a certain sneering-charm, which caused many players to side with her, despite her brutal tendencies. Devora is also an accomplished TV actor, appearing in shows such as Hollyoaks and Pandora.
- Jennifer English: Jennifer bring’s Shadowheart’s internal struggle to life, as the Half-Elf cleric wrestles with her devotion to an evil goddess while also being dedicated to her companions. Baldur’s Gate 3 is not the only award-winning game which she has played a role in, as Jennifer also voices Latenna in From Soft’s Elden Ring.
- Neil Newbon: Neil’s suave vocal stylings contribute to Astarion’s status as a heartthrob, amongst fans of Baldur’s Gate 3. Aside from voicing everyone’s favourite vampire Elf, Neil has also played Nicholai Ginovaef and Karl Heisenberg in the iconic Resident Evil series.
- Samantha Béart: Samantha is known for bringing to life the loveable Karlach, a Tiefling Barbarian experiencing her first taste of freedom. Samantha has also been nominated for a BAFTA for their role as Thomasina Bateman in The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow.
- Theo Solomon: Theo voices Wyll, the “Blade of The Frontiers”, a warlock who despite his pact with an infernal patron, dedicates his life to defending the city and people he loves. Theo will also be recognised for his role as Sebastian King in the TV series, Temple.
- Tim Downie: Tim provides the voice for Gale, the prodigy of the arcane arts who dedicates his life to unlocking the secrets of the Weave. Tim can also be recognised from his roles in Good Omens, Upstart Crow and Outlander.
- Tracy Wiles: Tracy portrays the witty and humorous half-elf Druid, Jaheria, a role which she was nominated for a British Academy Game Award for. In addition to this, she has also provided voices for Divinity: Original Sin and Diablo IV.The Baldur’s Gate 3 cast will attend the show across all three days, taking part in photo opportunities and signings which can be purchased by ticket holders.
MCM Comic Con and EGX London will take place at ExCeL London from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th October, and will be the first time both events are under one roof. ReedPop will continue to reveal more exciting guests and panels in the leadup to the show.
